DON'T BE YOUR WORST ENEMY

The devil loves to make you feel unnecessary guilt for things God has already forgiven you of by weighting you down with the heavy bondage of unforgiveness of yourself.  Sometimes it is "we" who are our worst enemy and it holds us back and we are miserable.  God is such a forgiving God.  Sometimes we have no problem forgiving others, but when it comes to forgiving ourselves the struggle is real and it can make us feel like we are in a straight jacket while the days of our lives are swiftly passing by.  God doesn't remember our sin, yet we continue to punish ourselves from the sins of our past.   It is hard to take the needed steps forward to today if we are thinking about yesterday.   This is the day that the Lord has made.   Let us rejoice and be glad in it!   Break out of the straight jacket of the bondage of already forgiven sin today, live and breathe.  Micah 7:19 says this---You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea!!   While you are wallowing in a bed of regret, guilt and unforgiveness of yourself blessings will pass you by and you will live way beneath the full potential that God has created you for!!!  Start living today "forgiven." Our worst enemy should be the devil and not we ourselves.  We are helping him do his job when we live in unforgiveness!   Rise up from your bed of defeat from unforgiveness of yourself today and watch the devil start shaking, sweating and squirming because he knows your potential through God and what he has in store for you.  Make him skeered.
